PM to gift new trains, Rs 19K crore development projects to Varanasi

VARANASI: Elaborate arrangements have been made for the two-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his parliamentary constituency during which he is scheduled to inaugurate the second edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam and flag off Kashi Tamil Sangamam Express train. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth over Rs 19,000 crore in the region.
Divisional commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that fleet rehearsal was held on the eve of the PM’s visit and preparations for all four events in which the PM would participate on Sunday and Monday, had been completed.
